Another World

The objective of this project was to create, design, and model a colony base on a fictional planet. I designed and modelled the planet, terrain, base, and dish-sterling parabolic mirror. I also took screenshots of the planet and parts and worked on the presentation. Through this project, I learned how to conduct research effectively and use Autodesk Inventor's material menu to change the texture and material of a part. Some challenges I faced during this project included researching how humans could survive in extreme heat and finding a way to build a base from native materials quickly.
