Business Card

The objective of this project was to design a 3.5" x 2" business card with engraved graphic design and information then print it with at least one perimeter cut and through-cut using matboard for the prototype and acrylic or hardwood for the final project. I was the designer for this project. Through this project, I learned how to combine engravings and through-cuts to create a functional project using the laser cutter. One issue I encountered during this project was adjusting the engraving thickness of some parts of the card in order to give the design a more even appearance.
